UP-and-coming pop-punk band, A Loss for Words, are all set to do a special acoustic in-store at Johnny Cupcakes, Carnaby Street, on 1 February. The band members are renowned for mingling with their fans so you may even get a chance to hang out with the boys and ask questions after the performance.
For those of you who don’t know, Johnny Cupcakes is an innovative clothing brand, founded by Johnny Earle in 2001. Their London flagship store opened in March 2011 with a great deal of support and intrigue. Earle explains that
‘Every T-shirt marks a place in time, a memory, a celebration or a friendly reminder that anything is possible’, which coincides nicely with the idea that A Loss for Words are currently having all of their hard work paid off. Not only that, they will be appealing to an audience that appreciate ‘out there’ ideas and the fulfillment of them. The store prides itself with fresh concepts, from putting fake skulls in with online purchases, to extensively decking out their stores so that they resemble a bakery.
The performance kicks off at 5pm, but arrive early to ensure entry.
