Meso-CRF at LipoTherapeia Review

ON entering the LipoTherapeia clinic in a fittingly stylish part of West London, I have to admit, I was a little nervous. If admitting you have cellulite isn’t embarrassing enough, showing it to a stranger can be positively nightmarish. Yet, smiley, smiley LipoTherapeia owner Georgios Tzenichristos, instantly put me at ease.

Unlike his surname (which I sympathise being Greek myself), his clinic is a simple one, dedicated to cellulite and fat reduction and nothing else. And with more than 1,000 clients, and over 10,000 treatments already delivered, you can’t help but feel as though you’re in safe hands.

“I started my practice as a complementary therapist with sports therapy and nutrition,” Georgios explains, “however, after several requests from clients for help with cellulite and fat reduction and skin toning, I got involved in this field about eleven years ago. During the last eleven years, I have used many different technologies and products. I have developed my own techniques and products, and intensively studied the physiology and biochemistry of adipose and connective tissues in order to provide better results more to my clients as well as  excel in my field.”

And his background in physics is clear; his groundbreaking treatment, Meso-CRF, combines the three most effective anti-cellulite, localised slimming and skin firming technologies available. Monopolar radiofrequency and high-power ultrasound cavitation are the most effective technologies for the non-surgical treatment of cellulite, but Georgios’ treatment uses both of these together and also adds no-needle mesotherapy with fifteen active anti-cellulite, circulation-enhancing and skin-firming ingredients, to make his treatment by far superior to anything else on the market. Results are maximised and clients save time and money.

It was both refreshing and insightful to speak to a man who really knows his game, not only on a scientific level, but, as he was also once a fashion photographer (yes really!), he understands on a more personal level that women are constantly seeking perfection. He also understands that we are continually bombarded with ‘miracle’ treatments that are often dangerous or ineffective and do little more than burn a hole in your pocket.

“I do not know the satisfaction rate of other treatments, but we regularly treat disappointed clients who tried gimmicks like laser lipo or low power/low quality radiofrequency, ultrasound, mesotherapy,” says Georgios, “We do have a 90 percent satisfaction rate, with the ten percent non-satisfaction rate being mainly due to clients continuing their previous drinking, overeating and sedentary habits during treatment. We can't make people eat healthily and exercise by force.”

And I have to admit, the treatment is a pleasant one as far as they go: pain-free, non-surgical and over quicker than you can say, ‘dimply legs’. Speaking of which, it can also be safely and effectively used throughout the entire body: calves, knees, inner/front/outer/back of thighs, buttocks, waist, stomach, décolleté, arms, neck and face. It can even help with wrinkles and stretch marks.

Upon leaving, I could immediately feel a difference in the tightness of my skin, however, I think it would be unfair to judge the treatment after one session. “As the focus of the treatment is on semi-permanent, long-term results not short-term gimmicks,” Georgios clarifies, “the first long-term results are seen by the third to fourth session. In most cases we recommend six to twelve sessions for best results.”

Introductory sessions are offered at £135 (40% discount). Courses of 6 sessions cost £180/session (20% off) while courses of 12 sessions cost £135/session (40% off). As they are interested in serious, motivated clients, they do not offer single treatments, except from the introductory session.
