Phytokeratine Hair Products To The Rescue

Finally, an alternative to the costly keratin treatments

Phytokeratine Hair Products To The Rescue

For those of us with weakened and damaged hair, Phyto products are promising to abolish our bad hair days. For those of us unaware, Phyto began almost 50 years ago by Patrick Ales. Ales wanted to create hair care products that were environmentally friendly, gentle to one’s skin but potent enough to treat dandruff and hair thinning. The success of Phyto meant that it became a world-renown brand, and gave the likes of us quality and affordable hair treatments – numerous celebs and editors alike are huge fans the brand.

Within Phyto, the Phytokeratine treatment is born. We call it a godsend as it is a great alternative to the costly Keratin protein treatments that are all the rage right now. We love it because it uses the same ingredients to repair our weakened hair, restore shine and all at a fraction of the cost. The Phytokeratine collection consists of three main products: Reparative Shampoo, Conditioner and the lifesaving Serum (we’re starting to swear by it).

The shampoo and conditioner each contain the same natural ingredients. They incorporate botanical keratin, which aids the hydration of the hair by retaining the natural moisture level. Secondly, the rice bran ceramides smooth the hair cuticle and work double time to fight our ferocious frizz. Lastly, considering the unpredictability of our weather in the UK, pomegranate extracts are added to protect our hair against any environmental stresses (read: pollution and dangerous UV rays).

The treatment doesn’t stop there though; we saved the best till last – Phytokeratine Reparative Serum. The serum provides all of the above active ingredients, but also includes an array of complex Brazilian palm oils that help to repair hair and give it the silky finish we all crave. Whether you are fighting summer frizz or trying to get your hair back in shape for autumn, these are must haves!
