FRONT Up Rugby was first established in 2008 by Jon Allen and now three years later they are over the moon to be opening their very first pop up store. The store will be situated in 34 Long Acre, Covent Garden, and from the 18th of August, their doors will be opening to us for a limited time of four weeks. Usually, Front Up is only exclusive to our online needs, which is why we are so thrilled that it’s now coming to the high street.
For those unaware, the brand was initially set up in 2008 to fill a gap in the market for young males between the ages of eighteen to 30, who have a desire to wear sportswear that is both fashionable and takes influence from the game of rugby. Now, with the seventh Rugby World Cup approaching, Front Up wants to get us suited and booted for the occasion. In doing so, to mark the launch of the pop up store, they are launching their new Rugby World Cup (RWC) collection, which is where it will be exclusively available.
We love this range because it mixes sports with fashion, and takes inspirational desires from Japan, England and New Zealand to create a new brand of sports fashion. All in all, the limited edition range is composed of two hoodies, seven t-shirts and three polo shirts and will sit amongst the brand’s existing collection. Also, to further delight all of us rugby fans, the store will be displaying Allan Storer’s artwork, which is said by critics to be some of the best paintings and prints that capture rugby at its best.
Jon Allen, Managing Director of Front Up Rugby, says, “We are extremely excited to be opening the very first Front-Up store. It’s the right time for us ahead of the Rugby World Cup and all the great support we have received over the past three years. We are ready for the next step. ” This must have collection is limited to us for four weeks, so go down and make sure you check out the store.
