New Year’s Day Parade
The New Year’s Day Parade is one of London’s most iconic celebrations, bringing people of all ages and cultures together to laugh, dance and sing in the New Year. The parade will feature dancers, bands, musicians, cheerleaders and representatives from the West End shows, as well as acrobats, clowns and fabulous floats, all taking part in the two-mile route from the Ritz hotel, parading past lower Regent Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Big Ben. This year, the theme is set to be the London 2012 Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, so come along and celebrate all things British – get there early to get the best view.

New Year’s Eve Firework Display
Finishing off the year in style, is one of London’s biggest events, the official New Year’s firework display, which takes place from the London Eye and on numerous barges across the Thames, the fireworks will undoubtedly look spectacular with the amazing city backdrop. Enjoy the celebrations and amazing show of illuminations and watch the New Year come in with all your friends, again get there early to avoid disappointment, with prime spots being Victoria, Embankment and the bridges.

New Year’s Eve Eve Masked Ball
The Last Tuesday Society presents another fantastic night of weird and wonderful entertainment to start off the weekend of partying. The masked ball is in fact bringing London a celebration of New Year’s Eve Eve, another excuse to go out this weekend. The ball will have live music, tours of the church crypt, dancing, drinks and endless entertainment and with the Tax’s rising next year, it will be one of the last chances to get ‘cheaper’ champagne. This alternative night of dancing and drinking is one not to miss and live music from, Badger Badger, Mariachi Jalisco, while DJs such as the Delinquent Dandy and Penny Metal will be performing, just remember masks are obligatory, clothes are optional

All Night Dinner Dance
The renowned media, arts, music venue, Factory 7 will be this year’s setting for the New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance. The event will offer the public the chance to eat, drink or dance, or even all three. The Dinner Dance will consist of two rooms with a large dinner hall, with high ceilings and skylights. The night will also have a room for just cocktails and two fantastic sound systems. Get the drinks flowing and dance the New Year’s in at with the Dinner Dance Residents Chris Coco (Melodica) and Dirty Omar (Dinner Dance), set to be a great night.

Candlelight Club New Year’s Eve Party
A classier affair from the pop-up cocktail bar, fully decked out in a 1920s décor in s secret London location, created by the people behind The New Sheridan Club. With a variety of acts and a fabulous bar with experts creating the most delicious concoctions, as well high class bar food and a free aperitif. The public will definitely believe they have travelled back in time to the 1920s, the only really authentic jazz age experience across London on Saturday night. Don’t forget to keep following the event as it’s a secret still.

Gypsy Hotel Party
A risqué take on the celebrations, with drinks flowing freely, the Gypsy Hotel will produce boogie bands, burlesque, swing, magicians across a heaving dance floor. The party will be taking place in a particularly intimate location, however it looks like this will be a lot of fun, if you plan to go crazy this New Year’s. Live acts will include Suri Sumatra and Trixie Malicious and so much more, as well as resident DJs Paul-Ronney & Ane Angel and Duncan DeMorgan.
