News Corporation CEO Rupert Murdock who tweeted “Maybe Brits have too many holidays for a broke country!” How about disgraced media moguls sticking to the country they actually reside in – running utter bollocks like Fox News – and have less influence in British media.

The “Rip Off Londoners” Award goes to…
Boris Johnson and Transport for London. Every year Londoners pay more and more for the pleasure of using public transport. Above-inflation rises this time round ensure that Londoners pockets are lighter than other city commuters in the world.


Trafficwarden

The "Not All Traffic Wardens are Fascists” Award goes to…
Hakim Berkani, a rare breed traffic warden who is actually liked by members of the community he serves. After three years of service Berkani was allegedly dismissed after he tipped off a member of public who was about to get nabbed with a ticket.

The world’s first hybrid sharks. While parts of the populace devolve to something resembling a Roman amphitheatre, the results of two different species of sharks mating had scientists explaining how the new hybrid offspring could be evolving to cope with climate change.

Google, Facebook and Twitter who could be ready to blackout their services in protest at SOPA (Stop Online Privacy Act). The American Senate is due to debate SOPA legislation soon. Commentators have dubbed the possible blackout as the ‘nuclear option’.
