Regular Einstein Awards

WE scour the local and international media to bring you the best and worst our planet has to offer. Drum roll please...

Wall Street SignThe ‘Best Protest Sign’ Award goes to…

The Occupy Wall Street supporter caught on camera keeping it real. This was probably before nightfall when no doubt he would have been politely rolled out of his tent by New York’s finest, allegedly.

Toastsandwich

The ‘Leading The Way In Groundbreaking Scientific Research’ Award goes to…

The Royal Society of Chemistry who discovered that a toast sandwich is the UK’s cheapest meal at 7.5p. The RSC's Dr John Emsley said: "You simply put a piece of dry toast between two slices of bread and butter, with salt and pepper to taste.” Good to know that Dr Emsley is greatly advancing the chemical sciences at the RSC.

Borisjohnson

The ‘Man of the People’ Award goes to…

Boris Johnson for his remarks referring to the Occupy London movement, outside St Pauls, as ‘crusties’. Will the Blond One’s comments against the current Zeitgeist be a vote winner come next year’s Mayoral elections?

Keira-Knightley

The ‘I Don’t Do Sex Scenes Unless I’m A Little Pissed’ Award goes to…

Keira Knightley who admitted to downing vodka shots, beer and wine for sexy scenes in A Dangerous Method. A girl has to have standards before stripping off for the part, eh Keira?

Cameron

The ‘Don’t Give Up The Day Job’ Award goes to…

David Cameron. The PM tried his hand at a bit of comedy at the Lord Mayors Banquet, riffing on Dowtown Abbey, Mr. Bates and attempting an Aussie accent when trying to impersonate the Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard. His attempt at an accent was panned by the Aussie media and described as ‘bizarre’.
