Selfridges Halloween Special

SELFRIDGES are putting on one of their biggest displays of darkness this October to celebrate Halloween.

The iconic department store is delivering a range of in-store events in its own unique and conceptual way. And some of the biggest names in fashion are stepping up to the plate.

On the second floor, A.F. Vandevorst presents The Smallest Travelling Store in the World and it is described as a “shop-in-shop” installation. The room is laid out as a centre with a hospital bed connected to a screen and mirror with a rack of A.F. Vandevorst garments, a closet, antique dentists’ lamp, cabinet, as well as a television, all depicting the image of a hospital patients’ room. This floor also hosts the Dr Martens with Swarovski Elements pop up shop boasting a selection of classic Dr Martens with a Swarovski twist including boots with loose-cut crystals.

What else you ask? On the third floor, Ann Summers presents its first ever Halloween pop-up shop with a selection of sexy, contemporary Halloween lingerie. Kids are catered for too in the Little Monsters section on the third and fourth floor, with the latter offering toys and the former children’s wear.

The Halloween programme runs from 26 September – 31 October
