"Wayward Plants have taken over a disused space in Southwark for their new project, the Urban Physic Garden – a medicinal garden that educates visitors about the healing properties of various plants. The garden is split up into various ‘wards’ such as cardiology, dermatology and gastroenterology and also includes a café, adopt-a-plant wall, ping-pong and recycled seesaw. Over the summer it will host a number of lunchtime talks and workshops. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is a real sense of community – it’s the type of place you want to linger in and seems a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the city." – Kate Berry, photographer
